OTHER WAYS TO GIVE

A cash donation isn't the only way to support Boulder Ballet. Depending on your financial situation, one of these giving methods may be more tax-efficient — and more impactful — than a standard gift.

Donor-advised funds (DAF)

Immediate tax benefit  ·  Give on your timeline

A donor-advised fund lets you contribute to a charitable account, take an immediate tax deduction, and recommend grants to organizations like Boulder Ballet over time. It's one of the most flexible charitable giving vehicles available.

How to give: Recommend a grant from your DAF directly to Boulder Ballet. Our legal name is Boulder Ballet and our EIN is 20-3447830.

IRA Charitable Rollover

For donors 70½ or older · Up to $105,000/year tax-free

If you're 70½ or older, you can make a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) directly from your IRA to Boulder Ballet - up to $105,000 per year - without counting it as taxable income. This can satisfy your required minimum distribution while supporting the arts.

How to give: Ask your IRA administrator to make a distribution payable to Boulder Ballet, EIN 20-3447830, and mail to 2590 Walnut Street, Suite 10, Boulder, CO 80302.

Appreciated Assets & Stock

Avoid capital gains · Maximize your gift

Donating appreciated stock or securities you've held for more than a year can be up to 20% more tax-efficient than selling and donating cash. You avoid capital gains tax entirely and receive a deduction for the full fair market value.

How to give: Contact Courtney for our brokerage transfer details. We'll work with you and your financial advisor to make the transfer straightforward.
