Boulder Ballet Nutcracker 2026
We invite students ages 9+ to audition for the Boulder Ballet Nutcracker on Sunday, August 23, 2026. In exciting news, Boulder Ballet will now open our audition to community students, ages 14-18 for select roles. Boulder Ballet is a professional ballet company and in order for students to dance in a company production, there must be a high level of commitment from each dancer wanting to participate in this special event

Macky Tech & Performance Week (Boulder, CO): Nov. 23 – Nov. 29 (Thanksgiving Day off)
Vance Brand Tech & Performance Week (Longmont, CO): Dec. 1 - 6
Estes Park: The Nutcracker Suite (Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, CO): Dec. 11 - 13 (Select dancers only as referenced in the above casting note)
Boulder Ballet School’s Spring Showcase
Boulder Ballet School students are always so proud to demonstrate all they have learned throughout the school year. Dancers perform alongside their classmates and showcase not only their growth in technique, but also their musicality, spatial awareness, ability to dance in groups, and artistry. Students may present different dance pieces including ballet, jazz/musical theater, contemporary, variations, and more!
