Interested in auditioning for Boulder Ballet?

Boulder Ballet values dancers who are curious about their craft, supportive of one another, and excited to discover their potential. If you share these values we would love to meet you. Please email materials to auditions@boulderballet.org and join us at one of our in-person auditions. 

Contracts for the 2025/26 season will be at least $625/week for 30+ weeks. Benefits include a wellness stipend, shoe allotment, in-house physical therapy, and more.

KNOW BEFORE YOU GO: 

Boulder Ballet auditions will consist of a ballet class and contemporary repertoire (potentially including partnering). All dancers are encouraged to approach the barre as their personal warmup. Female representing dancers should wear pointe shoes for center, and all dancers should wear form-fitting attire that allows Boulder Ballet staff to observe technique and alignment.

EMAILED AUDITION APPLICATIONS ARE NOW BEING ACCEPTED FOR BOULDER BALLET'S 2025/26 SEASON. 

Deadline for email applications is February 1st, 2025. 

All applicants must submit their audition materials via email to auditions@boulderballet.org. Please list "YOUR NAME - AUDITION" in the subject line of the email. Audition materials should include the applicant’s resumé, headshot, dance photo, and video link(s) of recent performance footage. Up to three professional references are encouraged, but not required. 

Resumés should include the applicant's date of birth and height, as well as previous and current companies and performed repertoire. 

Video materials should feature classical ballet technique, contemporary movement, and partnering excerpts. Women should include both work on pointe and in flat shoes in their video materials. 

Eligibility:

  • At least 18 years of age and currently eligible for employment in the United States (US citizen or valid work visa)

  • Strong classical ballet technique expected, and proficient in contemporary movement

  • Professional experience preferred.
