Expand your knowledge of dance and cultivate your artistry with this adult summer workshop focused on ballet technique, and classical repertoire from Swan Lake with Ana Claire.
What to Expect:
9:30 AM - 11:00 AM:** Dive into your training with a comprehensive class covering fundamental technique.
11:00-1:00 We will be exploring second act Swans and third act character dances from Swan Lake.
In studio performance on Friday, June 13th.

This exciting week is an invaluable opportunity for aspiring young dancers to gain real-world insight into the professional dance industry. As the dance world continues to evolve, today’s dancers must develop not only their technique but also their understanding of the business side of the art form. Boulder Ballet’s Youth Industry Week provides a comprehensive experience introducing dancers to dance beyond the studio space. Led by top-tier, locally renowned professionals, this program equips dancers with essential tools for success in mastering auditions, navigating agents, self-promotion, and creating connections with industry leaders. Whether you dream to perform on stage, in film, or in commercial dance, this workshop will empower your dancer with the knowledge and skills to take their dancing to the next level!

Beginning Adult Dance & Somatics Workshop

Days: Monday – Friday 9:30am-1:00pm with a break

This immersive workshop welcomes adult dancers of all levels to explore ballet as a holistic, embodied art form. Each day begins with a somatic warm-up designed to awaken both the energetic and physical bodies. A flowing ballet technique class follows, emphasizing grace, alignment, and presence. The experience deepens with guided movement explorations, including somatically-informed movement explorations, self-fascial release, and practices that nourish the connection between Body, Mind, and Spirit—all through the lens of dance.
