Boulder Ballet School - Summer Dance Program 2008

Youth classes are held in two three-week sessions.
Session One: June 9 - June 28
Session Two: July 7 - July 26
Youth classes will not occur during the week of July 4.
Adult classes are held throughout the year - see Adult Program below for more information.
Boulder Ballet School is the official school of the Boulder Ballet. We offer classes for ages 3 to adult. If you do not enter the program by age 8, you will need to take a placement class. Arrangements can be made by contacting the Boulder Ballet office: (303) 443-0028.
We have two studios for summer programs, both located in the southwest corner of the Dairy Center for the Arts: Studio 1 and Studio 2.
The Boulder Ballet School accepts online registration for our summer classes.

If a student discontinues instruction at any point during the summer session no refunds will be given for the remaining tuition.

Creative Movement
Ages 3 and 4
An intro to movement, rhythm, working with
others, getting to know our bodies.

Pre Ballet
Ages 5 and 6
An intro to ballet, further exploration of rhythm,
discipline, learning steps, creating stories
with dance.

INTERMEDIATE INTENSIVE
The Intermediate Intensive meets five times per week and includes technique and intermediate pointe. Admission to the intensive must be approved by the school director.

SENIOR ADVANCED INTENSIVE
The Senior Intensive meets five times per week and includes technique and advanced pointe. Students attend the Adult/Company morning class. Admission to the intensive must be approved by the school director.

MASTER CLASS SESSION
August 11 to 16
This class is offered to help you prepare for
Nutcracker auditions and the Fall semester.
Instructor to be announced. Enroll based on Fall 2008 placement.

Note that in lieu of a Friday class we are offering a Saturday class to accommodate BVSD students who start school on Friday August 15.

Adult classes are offered on a drop-in basis. Payment is by the class or by punch card. Punch cards are available at the studio before class.
