For 18 years, Storybook Ballet has thrilled and inspired audiences of all ages with original productions of classic stories, danced by students of the Boulder Ballet School. Venture to Neverland with Peter. Hiss at Captain Hook when he captures Tiger Lilly. Laugh as the crocodile chases Hook into the ocean. Cry when Tinkerbell realizes Peter is enchanted with Wendy. Cheer when Peter and The Lost Boys rescue Wendy, Michael and John, and feel warm, safe and loved when they arrive home again in London. Peter Pan features young dancers you’ll want to follow in their future dance careers, and an original piano score by Victoria Ebel-Sabo. Order your tickets early - Storybook Ballet sells out!

Student Choreographers Showcase

The much anticipated annual student choreographers showcase demonstrates the inner-workings of students ages 8 and up. The students create their own work, in solo and group forms. The creativity, skill and variety of these young performers is wonderful to see!

BB2 - Junior Company

Consisting of the most advanced students of the Boulder Ballet School, BB2 demonstrates the depth and quality of their training in this performance. The concert will include group and solo works in both modern dance and ballet created especially for BB2 by professional choreographers, and excerpts from the classical repertoire. Inspiring for dancers of all ages!

Boulder Ballet School Showcase
May 30 & 31
Dairy Center for the Arts

The exciting end-of-year recital! Creative Movement through Level 1 perform in a mini-showcase at 2 PM, which also includes a special performance by the upper-level students to demonstrate the results of years of training. Levels 2 through 7 and Boys classes, including examples of Modern Dance, Character Dance and Pas de Deux, perform at 4 PM each day. The audience must be split between the two performances because the theater does not accomodate the full audience at once. Viewers with last names beginning with A -L attend Saturday. Viewers with last names beginning with M- Z attend Sunday.
