Fall Semester is 18-weeks, from August 25 to January 17.
Spring Semester is 18 weeks plus recitals, from January 19 to May 31.

Tuition Prices are listed in the schedule below, and are per semester. Students in level IIIa and above enrolled in all classes in their level receive a discount, listed as Semester Charge.

Annual Registration Fee (per family) is $25.

Creative Movement Ages 3 and 4

An introduction to movement, rhythm, teamwork, and getting to know our bodies.

Pre Ballet Ages 5 and 6
View schedule
An introduction to ballet, further exploration of rhythm, discipline, learning steps, and creating stories with dance.

Leveled Classes I - VII
View schedule
A graded curriculum. It is highly recommended that your dancer take all the classes available to her/him at their level, to ensure proper development. Levels III b - VII include a once-weekly Special Class in modern dance, character dance, or physical theater. If your dancer does not enter the program by age 8 they will need to take a placement class.

Note: All level V, VI and VII dancers registered for all of their classes can take either Saturday morning adult class for $5.00.

Drop-in Classes

Drop-in classes are offered for dancers ages 12 through adult. No pre-registration is required. Payment is by the class or punch card. You can purchase your punch card online or at the office. Should you select to purchase your punch card online, you will need to bring your e-mail confirmation to your first class.

Beginning Ballet is offered for those dancers ages 12 through adult who are interested in exploring ballet and for those who may have had some earlier training to brush up on their skills.

Parent's and Young Children Yoga/Movement
Monday 12 - 12:45 PM BB2 $180 Kit Kyle

Gyrokinesis, an excellent strength and flexibility program, is offered through our partner Bodyspan.
Gyrokinesis classes at Boulder Ballet will be Fridays starting September 12, at 8:30 - 9:30 AM, in BB2. Drop-in fee is $14, or 6 class package for $66, payable to the instructor Deborah McBride.

Auditions held at Boulder Ballet Studio 1 at the Dairy. Please arrive 30-minutes in advance to register. Levels V, VI and VII bring pointe shoes.

Dress Code

Creative Movement & Pre-Ballet: Ballet slippers, any leotard or simple costume that does not impede full-body movement. Hair should be neatly pulled back from face.
Girls Level 1 - VI: Black leotard, pink tights, pink leather ballet slippers (full sole). Hair should be neatly pulled back from face. Buns are required for levels IIIa and above.
Girls Level VII: As above, but may choose to wear a colored leotard.
Boys Ballet: Black tights, white t-shirt tucked in, and white or black leather ballet slippers.
Boyz Dance: Sweatpants or shorts, t-shirt, and bare feet. Jazz or ballet shoes are optional.
Adult classes: Ballet slippers required. Traditional ballet attire of tights and leotard is recommended; however adult students may wear any comfortable workout clothing.
Dancewear is available in Boulder at Boulder Body Wear.
